Phosphate chemicals and phosphorus derivatives are utilized in the manufacture of many products used in daily living, including processed foods, beverages, detergents and toothpaste as well as in many industrial manufacturing applications such as paint, metal finishing and ceramics. Phosphorus derivatives are also used as builders in flame-retardants, water treatment and life sciences products.

To become a vertically - integrated manufacturer and supplier of phosphorus, phosphate chemicals and phosphorus derivatives under ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards, delivering these products to the world through a seamless supply-chain system.
In the first step towards achieving this goal, our company acquired a phosphorus production base in the west of China, by investing as a majority partner in a 60%- 40% joint venture with an existing phosphorus manufacturer. This allowed us to secure a reliable supply of Yellow Phosphorus, the essential raw material to manufacture phosphate chemicals and phosphorus derivatives. The plant in Mianzhu City within Sichuan Province is regarded internationally as a quality phosphorus and Phosphoric Acid producer with a great cost position, as it has access to excellent phosphate rocks, fair electricity prices and strong government support.
The second step was to expand the plant in March 1997 with the construction of a 30,000 MTPA Sodium and Potassium Phosphate production facility, based on technology acquired from Monsanto of the United States of America. This world-class facility, commissioned in September 1998, provides our company the ability to produce more than 20 different food and industrial grade sodium and potassium phosphate chemicals. The Monsanto technique produces medium to heavy density granules, unlike the hollow ones made from the traditional" China One-Step" process. To meet the increased demand for phosphoric acid to produce the downstream chemicals, we also expanded our acid production by building a new 30,000 MTPA facility.

In 2000, the Mianzhu plant reached another milestone when it became the first chemicals manufacturer in China to be certified to both ISO9001 and ISO14001 Quality and Environmental Standards. The accreditations affirm our commitment to, not only ensuring product quality, but more importantly, being an environmentally responsible producer. In 2002, We made further strides in vertical integration by acquiring an excellent 150,000 MTPA phosphate rock mine and also buying out the local partners¡¯ share in the production plant.
Since the start of operations in 1996, we have grown rapidly and today, we have more than 400 employees based in China and Singapore.
